The Lane Memorial, honoring the legacy of Ace Lane Sr., Ace Lane Jr. and JJ Lane, has become quite an event at Wall Stadium Speedway.

The ATQMRA participated in time trials which seems to be a fan and driver favorite. Picking up the Bud Sload Fast Time in qualifying, sponsored by Paul Dodorico Racing, was Ryan Tidman (#99) 13.052.

After the redraw, the line up was set with Tidman on the pole and Tyler Ferris (#7) starting on the outside pole for the 3rd race in a row.

Before engines fired, fans gathered for a busy trackside driver autographs and photos session with the field.

The evening’s ceremonies included a moment of remembrance in Victory Lane for the Lane family, with Tommy Lane returning behind the wheel, to honor his family's rich history in the Sean Case prepared 9C.

Early on in the race Paul Dodorico (99x) and Steve Craig (#55) put on a battle for 6th, with Dodorico completing the pass on the back stretch.

Buddy Sload (#36) and Jeff Kot (#95) and Billy Cole (#0) were racing hard in the opening laps.

Meanwhile Tidman continued to increase his lead to almost a straight away over Ferris. Wagner made a front stretch pass on Payne as the two battled for 5th. One lap later Payne grabbed the position back in turn 2, utilizing a lapped car perfectly.

2nd through 5th (Ferris, Barney, Payne, Wagner) continued to run within inches of each other for most of the race.

With the checkers in the air, Tidman sealed up his 2nd win of the season, leading all 30 laps. Barney added a lot of excitement to the finish when he pressured Ferris across the line, ultimately Ferris would get 2nd and Barney would complete the podium cars. Payne and Wagner were within inches of the podium cars, putting on an action packed race for the fans.

Paul Dodorico, who in his first start this year driving the PDR 99x, and was third fastest in time trials, locked up the 6th spot. Craig, Sload, Kot and Cole completed the top 10. Billy Cole, Dave DiSalvo and Tommy Lane would round out the field.

For the third consecutive race this season, the race ran caution free.

Results were posted after the 99 passed post race tech by ATQMRA Tech Inspector Peter Duchak.

The evening was filled with heartfelt moments—photos in Victory Lane, a salute to the Lane’s family contributions to the sport through decades of photographic coverage, and a generous outpouring of support through lap sponsorships and memorial bonuses.

Special thanks to everyone who worked hard trackside to make the event a success. Emily Krause, Earl Krause, Erica Tidman, Kimmie Payne, Linda Tidman, Karen Sload, Pete Duchak, Sean and Bill Case, Scott Ferris, Erik Graham, Bob Wagner and Mike Corgliano.
